Looking towards the start, somewhere along that beach.
"Great day, friendly crowd, hot day, water 20c, got to be happy with that! 1330 start on the high tide. Got the basics right and safety was good.Boats, IRB, paddlers, surf skis and 4WD on the beach.
"Prizes were prints of a painting of Cable Beach commissioned for the swim.
"Only in Broome would you have the taxi driving you to the start actually drive on to the beach and drop you at the registration table:))
"For myself, ticked a 5km swim off my list and pretty happy with my time. (with perhaps a little helping current!) "There was also a 1.5km swim that had double the numbers of the 5km."  Marion Slattery Results... click here
