Gold Coast Marlins

The Gold Coast Marlins were established in 1972 with a run and a swim with drinks after at the Southport Surf Club.

Then in 1973 the Marlins became affiliated with the Winter Swimming Association so they would compete at the National Titles.

Since that time the Marlins have hosted the National Titles three times and won the Titles three times.

Each year the Marlins host the Doug Jennings Memorial Day and also participate in three other annual carnivals shared between the Northern Clubs.

The Gold Coast Marlins swim at Miami Aquatic Centre, 80 Pacific Avenue, Miami every Sunday from May to September at 9.00am for a 9.30 swim.
