The Bridge2Bridge is the ideal open water event for those new to the sport.
Held at the Sydney International Regatta Centre, the event comprises of a 3km and 5km swim, making it an ideal race for swimmers of all ages and of ranging abilities.
The world-class facilities make the perfect setting for the open water event. With surrounding native trees designed to limit cross wind and no ocean swell, the swims are suited to the novice to the more competitive.
The Sydney International Regatta Centre is home to other fun recreational activities. Row, sail or kayak on a world-class waterway or rollerblade, scooter or cycle the scenic 5km lakeside path.
Part of the marathon series, the Bridge2Bridge caters for swimmers of all ages and abilities.
There are two events; a 3km and 5km swim. Participants must be at least 10 years of age to take part in the 3km and 12 years for the 5km race.
The course, held at the Sydney International Regatta Centre with world-class facilities, follows a 3km loop. There is a 2km swim thru to make up the 5km event.
All swimmers must be off the water within 2-hours of the start.

There is an array of recreational activities at the Centre suitable for all members of the family. Go for a row, sail or kayak on a world-class waterway or strap on a jetpack and experience what it's like to fly.
There is also a picturesque 5km lakeside path, so pack your scooter, bike, rollerblades or sneakers. Bring a picnic, hire a BBQ or bring your own portable gas BBQ and enjoy lunch by the stunning river.
