The Riverina Rush held on Nerrandera's beautiful Lake Talbot in New South Wales.
Run in conjunction with the Swimming NSW marathon series, The Riverina Rush involves three swim distances - 2km, 5km and 10km.
Held in the picturesque Lake Talbot, the event caters for swimmers of all abilities and ages with prize money and medals awarded.
While in the area why not explore all of what Nerrandera has to offer. The Murrumbidgee River is a great spot for water sports, bushwalking and a picnic. For those after the ultimate bush camping experience, pitch a tent at Murrumbidgee Valley National Park and enjoy the wildlife and serenity.
Lake Talbot is the perfect venue for the Riverina Rush. With a range of distances the events is perfect for the whole family to participate.
The 2km event is an 'up and back' course starting at the Lake Talbot swimming pool complex. The 5km swim starts off a pontoon at the far end of the lake. The 10km event starts at the pool complex end of the lake.
There are five event categories for all swims. These include under 10s, 14s, 18s, 39s and veterans.
With prize money and medals up for grabs the Riverina Rush all entrants are guaranteed a fun open water event.
