South Maroubra Surf Life Saving Club is a volunteer organisation, established in 1959, to keep beach goers at the south end of Maroubra Beach safe. The surf club is located at the south end of the iconic Maroubra Beach and members patrol on weekends and public holidays from September to April of every year.

Maroubra Beach is known for its great surf and is easily accessible by car and bus. The club has more than 1,000 members ranging from nippers to senior patrolling members and boasts a great social and inclusive membership.
