Like many, I swam vaguely competitively as a high-schooler, but then life got in the way! Fast-forward roughly 35 years, and I got hooked again, courtesy of Masters Swimming. I swam with a large Masters club in Canberra for about five years, until moving over here to Jervis Bay late in 2019, and rediscovering the joys of salt water.

Currently loving the retired lifestyle! This means I have the time and the opportunity to swim pretty much daily with Jervis Bay Wobbegongs Winter Swimming Club, usually at Huskisson, but depending on weather and our inclination, other spots around beautiful Jervis Bay.

I've even had the time and energy to tick off a few competitive ocean swims: so far - Sydney Harbour, Broulee, Huskisson, Tilbury Cove, Kiama and Shellharbour, with Gerringong and and a few others on the 'bucket list'.

Very happy to act as host for any visiting swimmers who might be passing through this neck of the woods! Happy splashing....
