I  ocean swim 3kms each Saturday and 2kms twice during the week  at Bargara from Neilson's Beach to Boat Ramp return.  A girlfriend swims Saturday with me.  I started a social group call Oceans4us.  There is another ocean swimming group at Bargara that swim 1.8 > 2kms but we prefer the longer distances which is why we started a new group.  We swim in virtually all conditions.  Two summers ago the ocean conditions were so flat and clear we swam from Neilson's Beach to Archies return that totalled 6.3kms.

I am 65 and my girlfriend is 62.  We don't have great speed, endurance is more our style.
