Have been open ocean and ocean pool swimming for a couple of years now. I generally swim 1.5k to 3.5k on average, and swim most days so a relatively strong swimmer. Average pace 1.47-2/100m depending on conditions (and pre-swim coffee!). Just completed my first Coogee Island Challenge in Dec’21, which was so much fun. I love open ocean swimming and am keen to explore more swims around Coogee areas with a group/ swim buddy. Cheers, Erin
