Pool swimmer all my life; never fast but always strong.  Not a huge amount of experience in surf.  Used to do quite a few swims in the Bay and on the Surf coast (short-middle distance, up to Pier to Perignon) but have been away from it for 12+ years and a few health problems have been a challenge recently.  Have not long moved back to the coast and am keen to take advantage of it and get into the water regularly (as a more attractive alternative to local pools) and perhaps get back into some swims over summer - if & when we are allowed to do that again!  Might be interested in some swims over winter but probably keener when things warm up a bit.
