I just like to dip and frolic in the ocean all year, and love the challenge of the cold. I don't really get into doing lengths in the ocean, but will swim a few lengths of one of my local beaches when I feel like it.  I always like to finish with body surfing a few small waves. I will sometimes dive down and peak at the bottom if it looks interesting. I'm a regular pool swimmer doing lengths, and regular surfer on a longboard.  I like to have a cup of tea at a local beach cafe after the swim - especially in winter. Week days are the best for me (when the swell is too low for surfing :-))
