I live in Lane Cove and swim regularly at Clovelly. Working full-time I am limited to weekend swimming, although working from home during Covid has given me an opportunity to schedule a couple of mid-week swims at Balmoral.
I love the freedom of swimming in the ocean and enjoy the challenge of swimming in turbulent water. I'd like to build my confidence, stamina and strength over the next four years so I can participate in distance events. I swam my first organised swim this year, completing the 1K Cole Classic. My time was 28 minutes so I'm not a sprinter!
I'm looking for a swim buddy/ies to provide companionship and support in the water.
