The Auckland Central Masters: Bays Swim takes place at St Heliers Bay, St Heliers, New Zealand and is organised by The Auckland Central Masters Swimming Inc.

Swimmers can choose from two distances; a 4km or 2km ocean swim.

Starting at St Heliers participants will swim out to East Bastion Reef, then to Kohimarama, in a Diamond Course before returning to St Heliers.

Throughout the day there will be on the spot prizes.

The Wai Wai Shield will be up for grabs for the fastest male and female non-wetsuit swimmers. The Eagale Bays Cup will also be up for grabs for the fastest male and female wetsuit swimmers. Medals will be awarded to first, second and third placegetters across all age groups in both wetsuit and non-wetsuit categories.
