The Champion Bay Challenge is held on Australia Day at Champion Bay, Geraldton, Western Australia.
Organised by Champion Bay Surf Lifesaving Club, swimmers can choose from three distances; a 1km, 3km and 6km ocean swim in an around the buoys format. There is also a 500m junior swim for those 12 years and under.
