The Coogee Jetty to Jetty Swim is a part of the WOW Swim Series and offers a unique opportunity for ocean swimmers of all abilities from experienced open water swimmers to social swimmers and beginners. This event is also, know as one of the most enjoyable family-oriented open water swims in Western Australia.

Swimmer’s can choose from three swim distances; a 250m, 750m and 1500m ocean swim in the safe waters of Coogee Beach.

Swim along with Daphne the Duck and her friends, and enjoy a traditional “jetty to jetty’ swim in the special family atmosphere.

Throughout the day there will also be lots of spot prizes and giveaways for those lucky.

WOW Swim Series

The WOW Swim Series is a community swim series for all and offers a range of distances to suit everybody. WOW, open water swims are designed for swimmers of all ages and abilities to be able to experience the thrill of open water swimming in a range of settings. WOW likes to encourage participation in the community hosted events as not a competition but rather part of a healthy lifestyle.

Courses

In the pristine shallow waters of Coogee Beach, walk to your start line and enjoy a straight-line swim back to the Woodman Point Jetty.

The event includes the 1500m Classic swim from Coogee Beach Jetty, 750m swim and the 250m Try-It swim which continues to grow and grow as a fun and safe way to introduce absolutely anyone to ocean swimming.

While you’re there

Taking place at Coogee Beach WA, one of Perth’s safest and most popular beaches, you can enjoy the City of Cockburn Community Big Breakfast and Kidzone activities with fun, games and giveaways after your swim in the beautiful surrounds of John Graham Reserve.

Afterwards, why not visit the exciting new Port Coogee marina or drive a few minutes into historic Fremantle.

Travel and Parking

Easily accessible from Cockburn Rd, there is plenty of on-site parking with a large overflow car park with a walk through the reserve to the beach or a volunteer-operated park & ride option.
