The Quicksilver Reef Swim Green Island is a unique event held in conjunction with the Cairns Ironman where swimmers can experience the crystal-clear waters of the Great Barrier Reef in an ocean swim.

Swimmers can choose from either a 1.5km or 3km ocean swim in an around the buoys format, in the waters off Green Island.

During your swim enjoy the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef, just below the surface. You will find an incredible array of colourful reef fish, turtles and a stunning variety of corals as you navigate the course.
