The Margaret River Ocean Swim is a 1km around-the-buoys ocean swim at Gnarabup Bay, Western Australia.

Organisers like to emphasise that this event is for everyone to have fun and encourage each other whether you are a speedier fish doing it for a race or you just want a leisurely swim.

Swimmers are allowed to wear fins, wetsuits, a snorkel or pull buoy if they choose but they will not be eligible for the fastest male or female award. Spot prizes will be handed out throughout the event.

There is also a 200m Kids Race for those aged between 9-13 years old.
