The Penguin Island Swim at Freers Beach, Port Sorell, TAS, is organised by Port Sorell Surf Lifesaving Club and part of the Tasmanian Ocean Swim Series.

Swimmers can choose from two swim distances; a 500m or 2km ocean swim in an around the buoys format.

Swimmers will start at Freers Beach before swimming out into Rubicon Estuary, between Penguin Island and the Port Sorell Surf Lifesaving Club at Hawley beach and completing a triangular course.
