Swim Around Keppel is an ocean swimming festival weekend with the main event being a 20km marathon swim circumnavigating Great Keppel Island.
Participants can enter one of Australia's longest marathon swims as an individual, tandem, duo or team relay category.
Along the way, you will pass 17 pristine beaches, coral reefs, and an abundance of marine life.
In the lead-up to the main event, there is a series of shorter oceans; a 500m, 1km and 5km ocean swim in an around the buoys format on Saturday. There is also a water polo tournament, sandcastle building competition and a scavenger hunt.
Swimmers who want to participate in Swim Around Keppel must complete a 10km qualifying swim before entering. Alternatively, swimmers who have swum a greater distance than Great Keppel Island previously may enter off that swim without the 10km qualifying swim.
Enjoy a swimming experience of a lifetime and participate in this one-of-a-kind ocean swimming festival.
