ResetSwim Thru Perth is one of Australia’s oldest open water events, first being held in 1912. Since then many changes have been made to the course and distances but currently offers 800m, 1.6km and 3.5km ocean swims at Matilda Bay, Crawley, Western Australia.
Run by the Claremont Masters, swimmers will start at Perth City and swim to the finish line at Matilda Bay.
Did you know? In its over 110-year history, Swim Thru Perth has only been interrupted by two World Wars, the polio pandemic and the Covid-19 pandemic in 2021.
This event is part of the WOW Swim Series.
The WOW Swim Series is a community swim series for all and offers a range of distances to suit everybody. WOW, open water swims are designed for swimmers of all ages and abilities to be able to experience the thrill of open water swimming in a range of settings. WOW likes to encourage participation in the community-hosted events as not a competition but rather part of a healthy lifestyle.
