Born out of the embers of BondiFit, run by the legendary Spot Anderson, Bondi Wombats are a community swimming group who meet at North Bondi SLSC rain, hail or shine for some ‘ins and outs’.
Swim out (roughly) 200m and back working our way down the beach.
Total distance (roughly): 1.2-1.6km
Summer: Thursday 6:15pm
Winter: Sunday 9am
We have a real mix of abilities and wait for all wombats on each loop and in the ocean. We never leave a wombat behind.
All abilities welcome so come on down and remember, you never regret a swim.
