We are a bunch of people who love to Ocean Swim.

Swims are organised on a casual basis and we all swim at our own risk. We mostly meet at Umina Beach, to the left of the surf club (facing the water).

Times vary but often start around 7:15am. You can join a swim that has been posted, or post a swim for others to join.

Pending the surf conditions, we swim to the Umina Buoy (approx 250m offshore), maybe add in some tos and fros, or swim to the Ocean Beach buoy (approx 1km).

A post-swim coffee at Jasmine Green’s is almost always on the agenda.

If you are a competent swimmer, you are welcome to join us.

For new ocean swimmers, we are happy to support you to come and have a try – on a day that the ocean is calm!
