We usually swim across the bay and back (1km) but a few of us also enjoy swimming out around the point and into Blue Bay and return and out of Little Beach around the point and into Toowoon when conditions are suitable.

These swims are 1.6km to 2km. However, some of our group meet up and swim out to the buoy with the group then do a swim they feel comfortable with and we meet up and chat at the end.  We are a very social group so as long as you are happy in the ocean, speed doesn’t matter. Look out for the orange caps with a blue grouper on them.
