The group brings people together to enrich our community through the simple act of a morning ocean swim. The focus is on participation, inclusion and personal development rather than competition. The WPS group page is also a forum for members to share ocean swimming experiences and arrange impromptu swims at other times throughout the year. Werri Point Swimmers is an informal group who meet at the south end of Werri Beach and swim from 8.00am every morning (main swim on Saturday and Sunday mornings) from the rock platform to Werri beach, a minimum distance of approximately 350m up to 2km.
