The Cronulla Polar Bears Winter Swimming Club was founded in 1953 and has swum and competed in the ocean rock pool at Cronulla on Sundays between May & September ever since.

We meet at 9am every Sunday at the John Suann Room above the indoor pool complex.

On a diet of Potatos, Chilli and Beer the Cronulla Polar Bears have won at least 24 of 26 South Metropolitan Championships and have been the Australian Winter Swimming Champions 12 times.
