I'm a 52 week open water swimmer, living in Geelong, Victoria.  Regular with like minded individuals, we like Saturday 8 am entry at Cosy Corner in Torquay.  Our little assembly of like minded people are called, (self named), the "Cosy Gropers".

With Covid shutting our lap pools, many of us also became more regular on other days - swimming on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, on top of the usual Saturdays at Cosy Corner, Torquay.

We also like swimming at Anglesea, Point Lonsdale and Lorne. 

I swim in most SLSC Fundraisers over the summer, to experience different beaches and water, and to also catch up with friends.

The pool just cannot compete with the open water, and from late November until Easter I swim in togs but have to suit up from Easter until the end of October.
