Morning, I have recently moved back to Sydney from Townsville where I competed in many different ocean swims over the course of 10 months. I competed in a team of 4 (Magnetic Island to The Strand  8km swim, 2km each). Ice swam other 3km ocean swims and the last ocean swim was on Moore Reef, 50km off Cairns, that was an incredible experience. Although I have to say the sea is pretty flat in that part of the world compared to the Sydney beaches and it's surf.... I am currently training in a pool for the Great Keppel Island Series swim that is coming up in mid July 2022. I have entered a team of 4. It's a 20km swim around the island, each swimming 5km. Currently I'm swimming about 12km a week. I love wearing flippers. I still don't feel all that confident and am trying to work on my swimming technique. I would love to be able swim with at least one other person who is confident in the ocean. Thank you
