Hey friends, I'm 38, I live in North Nowra, which is in the South Coast of NSW. I don't have much experience doing open water swimming. I have only done a little bit here and there just for fun with friends. I've always wanted to be able to go out and have a swim. I'm not too bad in the pool and can do about 1k in about 40 minutes.

Last year I decided to put my thoughts into action and reached out the surf club closest to me at Shoalhaven Heads. They suggested I get involved in the club and complete my Bronze Medallion, which I did at a struggle. But completed nonetheless. The experience left me with much self confidence to know that I can do it. But would love to be able to get out with someone and get out every now and then. I think this would definitely help me to become more comfortable to go out as I do get a bit anxious.

Would love to to be taken under someone's wing and guided to develop my swimming. Can be for a short time or long time. Something really informal, casual and fun.
