          About

Your opportunity to swim with purpose by supporting Take 3 for the Sea, an award-winning ocean conservation charity, at Umina Beach, Central Coast, NSW.

With distances to suit all levels the Take 3 Ocean Swim, Umina Beach has something for everyone, with 400m, 1km and 2km courses on offer. Prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third finishers at each distance.

The purpose of the Take 3 Ocean Swim is to connect the community to our beautiful ocean and fundraise to support Take 3. All entry fees and funds raised go directly towards Take 3’s education programs that spread the word about the importance of conserving the environment and protecting wildlife from the impacts of plastic pollution and waste.

The wonderful Central Coast Community are on board with Umina SLSC providing water safety and first aid on the day and coengineer sponsoring the event.

About Take 3 for the Sea

Take 3 for the Sea is a highly-regarded charity dedicated to addressing the crisis of plastic pollution entering our ocean, waterways and broader environment with a simple, empowering call to action: Take 3 pieces of rubbish with you when you leave the beach, waterway or… anywhere and you have made a difference.

Since 2009, Take 3 has developed and delivered education programs and events to schools, universities, surf life saving clubs, businesses and communities across Australia. We use social media to increase plastic pollution awareness and inspire participation.
