The Burleigh Ocean Social Swimmers (BOSS) swim every Sunday morning. Meeting at the beach showers, just north of the Burleigh Heads Surf Club for an ocean swim to North Burleigh or around headland to Tallebudgera Creek, conditions permitting. Only prerequisite is that you can confidently swim 400m under 9 minutes. We use a buddy system that you are accountable for one other swimmer of similar speed, as the group can be quite large somedays and too hard to count heads and know if everyone is with us. This is a friendly social swim for locals and visitors to Burleigh.
