The Auckland Central Masters: Marathon Swim takes place at Mairangi Bay Beach, Mairangi Bay, New Zealand and is organised by The Auckland Central Masters Swimming Inc.

Swimmers can tackle the only 10km point-to-point (single lap) marathon swim event in New Zealand.

Participants will start at St Heliers Bay swimming out around the “Whit Stick” and then round Browns Island in an anticlockwise direction, finishing at St Heliers Beach.
Due to the long duration of the swim, swimmers will need to provide their own support staff of either a kayakers, jet ski or boat for their own safety.

Throughout the day there will be on the spot prizes.

The John White Cup will be up for grabs for the fastest male and female non-wetsuit swimmers. The Lodi Raos Cup will also be up for grabs for the fastest male and female wetsuit swimmers.
