The Lake Taupo Across the Lake Swim at Acacia Bay, Taupo, New Zealand, is organised by Lake Taupo Rotary.

This iconic open water swim is New Zealand’s largest freshwater challenge and offers swimmers three open water swim distances; a 1km, 2km or 4.2km in a point-to-point course format.

Swimmers participating in the 4.2km challenge will start at Acacia Bay and swim across the bay at Three Mile Bay. Whereas, swimming participating in either the 1km or 2km events will start and finish at Three Mile Bay.

All proceeds from the swim will go towards helping community projects in the region.
