Shelly Beach Shed Cronulla
We are a group of swimmers, snorkelers, and underwater photographers, that swim all year round. We meet at Shelly Beach Shed, Cronulla around 8.30, and usually swim to Shark Island, sometimes around it depending on conditions, and then back to Shelly Beach. Our swims can vary as we sometimes go to Windy Point or Cronulla Point. Occasionally we swim from Oak Park, Bass and Flinders or Salmon Haul. If the ocean is too big, we simply enjoy our Shelly Pool. Some of us like to take photos and upload marine species we see on to iNaturalist data base, or we produce our own YouTube videos for our channel Shelly Ocean Swimmers.
This listing is provided to foster connections within the open water swimming community. We can’t guarantee the group is still active or that the details are correct. Please visit the group website or social accounts, or visit the meeting place at the times stated to enquire. Open water swimming is risky and water safety is not guaranteed.
