Soldiers Swim Crew is a very informal and social swim group that meets on Saturday mornings at 7.00am next to Surfside Snax (north carpark cafe).

The group is open to everyone, yet you need to be a strong and reasonably fast swimmer.

We will swim from the northern part of the beach to the southern part of the beach out the back (behind where the waves break).

We wait for everyone to arrive, then swim back again. It’s about 850m each way. If you want to try the swim, you could just do one way and then hop out and walk back.

If it’s really strong southerly blowing we sometimes go to Cabbage tree bay and do 3 laps in the bay (600m each lap).

You can also post in this group any swims you may be doing during the week that you may like company for.
