The RunSwim starts with a 4.1km run from Goldstein Reserve at Coogee Beach and heads south to the iconic Wylie’s Baths before looping around and heading north to Clovelly Beach where the first swim takes place.

After completing this swim, competitors will then run from Clovelly around to Gordons Bay, entering the water for the second swim at the dive ramp and heading to the beach in Gordons Bay. This is a beautiful swim over the Underwater Nature Trail and once you exit the beach at Gordons Bay, you’ll then complete a 1km coastal run to the northern end of Coogee Beach.

The final swim includes a 1km course in Coogee Bay before crossing the finish line in the centre of the beach!

This year, teams of two can enter with both completing the entire course (together or in their own time) and their combined time will be averaged to determine their placing.

Coogee and its surrounding beaches and coastline is the perfect backdrop for hosting the RunSwim Coogee Aquathlon.

Coogee also boasts a vibrant cafe, bar and restaurant scene so no matter what you are looking for, you will be sure to find it.

Coogee’s parking is limited and requires payment by the hour meters, so if you can come by public transport, please refer to the NSW Public Transport line.
