Why this event?

Winter fitness with a feel-good vibe.

Looking for a fun way to stay swim-fit through winter, mix up your training, or dip your toes into multisport without the pressure? Stroke ‘N Stride might be just your thing.

Held across five Sunday mornings on the Gold Coast, this welcoming winter series combines pool swims at Miami Aquatic Centre with relaxed parkland runs through Pizzey Park in a low-fuss, feel-good format designed for everyone from ocean swimmers and triathletes to families and first-timers.

The courses are short, social, and easy to enjoy, with options ranging from junior distances through to longer open categories. Expect a mix of pool laps, winding park paths, winter sunshine, and a welcoming community vibe that makes getting out of bed on a Sunday feel worth it.

Some events follow the classic “signature” course, so you can benchmark your progress through winter, while others mix things up with mystery course variations to keep things playful and fresh.

More than anything, Stroke ‘N Stride is about keeping people moving through winter, building confidence, and sharing good mornings outdoors with a like-minded community.

Whether you’re sharpening up for the ocean swim season, curious about swimrun or Swimrun Australia’s Gold Coast event, or simply keen for a different kind of Sunday session, this is a great excuse to get amongst it.
