Join Australia’s best open water swimmers for a community swim with a range of distances to suit any level of experience. Distances include 500m, 1.25km, 2.5km, 5km, 7.5km and the Olympic course qualifier of 10km.
The event will be held at the iconic Busselton Jetty, home of the longest jetty in the Southern Hemisphere, with the opportunity to challenge yourself on an Olympic course.
Enjoy the festival atmosphere after your swim and watch Australia and the world’s best compete as Paris 2024 nears.
Due to the ocean swims being swum on the same course as the Australian Open Water Swimming Championships, each of the swims will be swum on a FINA-approvel Olympic-style course, which is rare for any ocean swim.
Busselton is well known as a superb beachside holiday town and has so much to offer.
Busselton sits on the edge of beautiful Geographe Bay. From snorkelling, fishing, whale watching and swimming in the crystalline waters of Geographe Bay, to exploring the bordering placid white sandy beaches and coastal trails, it’s easy to instantly see why Busselton has the reputation as a vibrant beach town.
In downtown Busselton there are playgrounds, walking paths, cafes and bars along the fantastic extensively developed foreshore, not to mention the famous 19th-century Busselton Jetty and its iconic red train.
