9am every Saturday our club has a supervised swim at Williamstown Beach.
We set a 700m square course around the boating markers and back to the shallow water. There is a boardy on a rescue board keeping an eye on swimmers and the conditions. There is a small contribution for the costs of the boardy and the club’s safety equipment and a regular raffle.
The Melbourne Open Water Swimming Club is affiliated to Masters Swimming Victoria. The club is dedicated to supporting safer open water swimming and develops inclusion programs for people with special needs.
