Balmoral Beach
The Salty Crocs are an eclectic group of people who meet each morning at Balmoral Beach to swim in the ocean together. The route and distance of the swim varies based on the conditions on the day, but usually ranges from 1.5k to 3k. The group enjoy the swimming as much as the social aspects of: having a chat at the buoys, revelling in the perfect days, surviving the tougher days, and celebrating with a coffee afterwards. Home base is “The Crockery” at the north end of Balmoral Beach. We swim most days, usually around 6:30am on weekdays and 7:30am on weekends.
This listing is provided to foster connections within the open water swimming community. We can’t guarantee the group is still active or that the details are correct. Please visit the group website or social accounts, or visit the meeting place at the times stated to enquire. Open water swimming is risky and water safety is not guaranteed.
