ResetFinal details for the 2024 event will be updated when entries open
Also known as the Chieftain’s Challenge, the Warriewood Ocean Swim is a regular on the ocean swims calendar on yet another spectacular beach in Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
Tucked between Turimetta Beach to the south and Mona Vale to the north, Warriewood can feel both like a little bay and an open beach.
From 2024, The Chieftain’s Challenge is reverting back to its former point-to-point course format starting from Turimetta Beach around the headland and finishing up on Warriewood Beach.
Heading off Turimetta Beach swimmers will follow a single course round the Turimetta Headland, past the Warriewood Blow Hole and end up on Warriewood Beach. Course distance is roughly 1,500m.
The Sunrise Cafe has a meal for everyone from the super bacon & egg burger to local favourite Nutella & Lindt chocolate pancakes. Or if you’re after something on the healthier side try the amazing sunrise nourish bowl or Acai bowl.
There is beach parking at Warriewood Beach.
