The Warriewood Ocean Swim is a regular on the ocean swims calendar on yet another spectacular beach in Sydney's Northern Beaches.
Tucked between Turimetta Beach to the south and Bongin Bongin Beach (and Mona Vale) to the north, Warriewood can feel both like a little bay and an open beach.
This year the event is offering 1km and 2km swim distances in rectangle courses off the beach.
A previous iteration of this event saw it as a run-swim-run event named the 'Chieftain's Challenge'.
Both the 1km and 2km swims are rectangle courses tucked inside the headlands to the north and south.
Once you finish your swim, hit the Beaches market and try some of their amazing fresh produce, local honey, local speciality cheeses, fish, meat, olive oils, breads, Kombucha, homewares, fashion accessories, plants and flowers.
Hot tip: they have amazing corn fritters you have to try.
The Sunrise Cafe has a meal for everyone from the super bacon & egg burger to local favourite Nutella & Lindt chocolate pancakes. Or if you’re after something on the healthier side try the amazing sunrise nourish bowl or Acai bowl.
There is beach parking at Warriewood Beach.
