Events like the Rainbow Club’s Malabar Magic and Balmoral Swim for Cancer have become iconic in the ocean swimming calendar.
In 2005, cancer charity CanToo revolutionised the space by pairing fundraising with structured swim training programs, encouraging participants to work toward a goal while supporting a cause. Every minute, a child in Australia is admitted to a hospital. The Starlight Super Swim seeks to brighten the lives of these children and their families through the magic of swimming and fundraising.

The funds raised go towards supporting mental health initiatives for young people in Australia.
