The Proclamation Classic Swim is scheduled for Tuesday, 28 December 2021 at Glenelg Beach, South Australia.

This swim is inspired by South Australia’s 180-year heritage, taking its name from the Governor’s Proclamation on 28 December 1836 that established the colony.

This year competitors can choose from two distances; a 1km and 2km for 14 years and over.

Swimmers can enter either the 1km or the 2km ocean swim for $40 for Masters Swimming Club members or $50 for non-members.

The Proclamation Swim is suitable for ocean swimmers of all abilities, from the novice to the competitive open water athlete.

After your swim, enjoy the historical Glenelg foreshore known for its pristine protected beach, cafes, restaurants, walks, parks and the main street Jetty Road filled with shops.
