The one must do activity you have to do when visiting Brighton Beach and explore the Brighton Beach Bathing Boxes. Once there were between 100 – 200 bathing baths lining the beach, but currently there are only 82 colorful bathing boxes.
We suggest taking a stroll down the beach admiring all the different boxes, with each one having its own unique colours and owners touch on it.
If you are visiting on the weekend you might even be lucky enough to have a peek inside with most locals opening up their huts for visitors to see the inside as well.
If you are a sailing enthusiast, the Royal Brighton Yacht Club is only a short walk from the beach and is one of Australia’s premier yacht clubs. The best thing is they offer sailing day passes if you are a visitor.
Shopaholics, we have the location for you. Only a 12 minute walk from Brighton Beach is Church Street, where trendy boutiques, high street fashion outlets and beauty stores line the street – It is a shoppers dream.
Brighton is also home to some incredible cafes and restaurants, with Brighton Coffee, Brighton Schoolhouse and Brighton Soul all a short walk from the beach.
Parking is available at Green Point, Brighton Baths and along Beach Road. The surrounding streets may also offer limited parking spots.
